MechWarrior Michael Ferman was a member of the First Amphigean Light Assault Group's Second Battalion, during the late Third Succession War and the Fourth Succession War.[1][2]

Ferman served with Second Battalion, First Amphigean Light Assault Group during the Galtor campaign in 3025, where despite being in the thick of the combat, he survived.
He went on to use this experience during the battles of the Fourth Succession War on Galtor and New Aberdeen, where he used his knowledge of these battlefields to help his regiment to outmaneuver Galtor's defenders at the Wuhan Pass, on the Wagnall Plains and during the capture of the city of New Derry. On New Aberdeen he led his lance in discovering the enemy militia's headquarters.
Based on these exploits, and others thought impossible by a light 'Mech pilot such as destroying a Crusader, Ferman was reputed to be an exemplary MechWarrior.[1][2]

Ferman was known to pilot a Locust BattleMech.[1][2]
