Theodore Kauk was the commanding officer of the Ninth Marik Militia as of 3050.[1]

Colonel Kauk, commanding the Ninth Marik Militia, was stationed on Carbonis from 3050 to 3059.[1][2] Described as unimaginative, his appointment to command of the Ninth Marik was reportedly a political gesture from the Captain-General, with Colonel Kauk's enthusiasm for ineffective operations needing to be kept in check by his executive officer Force Commander Matthius Sunner.[2] By 3067, Colonel Kauk had failed to deliver on his promises for the Ninth Marik and had relegated most of his duties to Force Commander Sunner (effectively placing him in command of the unit).[3]
