Matthius Sunner was the commanding officer of the Ninth Marik Militia as of 3085.[1]

Force Commander Sunner, serving with the Ninth Marik Militia, was stationed on Carbonis in 3059.[2] Tasked with keeping a check on the behavior of his commander Colonel Theodore Kauk, Sunner had assumed many of Kauk's duties and, by 3067, was effectively the commanding officer of the Ninth Marik Militia.[3] With the dissolution of the Free Worlds League during the Jihad, now-Colonel Sunner was officially the head of the Ninth Marik by 3085, newly in service with the Rim Commonality Guard and stationed on Negushevo.[1]
