Assigned to the Rigil Kentarus Theater, 10 to 11 on the Inner Sphere Clock, the ComGuard 10th Army took a battering against Clan Wolf during the Battle of Tukayyid before serving along side Clan Wolf-in-Exile in the Arc-Royal Defense Cordon, calling themselves The Red Legion.

History
For much of the past decade, the Red Legion has operated as two independent commands, one working with Loyalist forces and the other an adjunct to the Arc-Royal Defense Cordon. ComStar tolerated this situation for as long as the FedCom conflict remained a cold war, but once actual fighting erupted, Precentor Gavin Dow took steps to ensure the loyalty of the Tenth Army to ComStar. For the most part this saved the Tenth from being caught up in the fighting, however Precentor Dag Kesselring's staunchly Lyran 66th Division paid the price for their choice and were annihilated in Peter Steiner-Davion's assault on Tharkad.
