Overview
The One Hundred Seventy-eighth Jump Infantry Division was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army.
History
In 2764, the unit was assigned, as a part of the XXXI Corps, Thirteenth Army, to District 3 of the Lyran Commonwealth Military Region, but was moved to an undisclosed area of the Periphery.[1]. The 178th was destroyed during the Periphery Uprising in 2765.[1]
Composition
As an SLDF Jump Infantry division the 178th would have been formed from two brigades of Jump Troops, one brigade of 'Mech regiments and two Ground Aero Wings.[2]
