The Two Hundred Fifty-nineth was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army.
History
In 2764, the unit was assigned, as a part of the LXVII Corps, Twentieth Army, of the Periphery Military Region, but was moved to an undisclosed area of the Periphery to take part in the Periphery Uprising by 2765.[1]. The 259th suffered heavy losses in the Hegemony Campaign, and was disbanded in 2784.[1]
Composition
As an SLDF Battle regiment the 259th would have been composed primarily of medium to heavy 'Mechs.[2]
