The Two Hundred and Sixty-Fifth Mechanized Infantry Division or the Pride of Pittsburgh was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army.[1]
Contents
History
The 265th formed a part of XLVIII Corps, Seventh Army, and in 2764 was stationed on an undisclosed world within the Magistracy of Canopus area of the Periphery Military Region.[1]
The 265th took heavy losses during the Periphery Uprising and by 2766 the Pride of Pittsburgh had been disbanded as a division. Elements of the division went on to join the Periphery rebels and the Capellan Confederation.[1]
Composition
As an SLDF mechanized infantry division the 265th would have been formed from one brigade of BattleMech regiments and two brigades of mechanized infantry.[2]
