The Two Hundred and Seventy-Fifth BattleMech Division or the Altair Division was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army.[1]

History

The 275th formed a part of XLI Corps, Ninth Army, and in 2764 was stationed in District 2 of the Free Worlds League Military Region. Following the New Vandenberg Uprising and subsequent Periphery uprising the 275th was deployed into the Periphery. The 275th survived their Periphery deployment and the Hegemony Campaign; the bulk of the division chose to follow General Aleksandr Kerensky on the Exodus but one of the regiments - the 104th Striker Regiment - chose to remain behind in the Inner Sphere and joined the Draconis Combine.[1]

Composition

As an SLDF BattleMech division the 275th would have been formed from two brigades of BattleMech regiments and a brigade of mechanized infantry regiments.[2]
