Overview
The Twenty-Eighth Mechanized Infantry Division was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army.
History
In 2764 the Twenty-Eighth was a part of XIV Corps within the Fourteenth Army and was assigned to District 1 of the Draconis Combine Military Region; the Twenty-Eighth was then transferred to District 3 in 2765 as part of the redeployment effort to fight the Periphery Uprising.[1] The Twenty-Eighth was destroyed during the Hegemony Campaign.[1]
Composition
As an SLDF Mechanized Infantry division the Twenty-Eighth would have consisted of two brigades of mechanized infantry and one BattleMech brigade.[2]
