By using these smaller units and training for a year, the Second rapidly developed into an elite command. 3050 found the Second Kell Hounds assigned to garrison Ambergrist.[1]
The Second participated in the Battle of Luthien, helping to drive off the Clan forces. They also participated in Operation Bulldog, taking Yamarovka.
In 3067 they were based on Arc-Royal.[2]
