Overview
The Thirty-fourth Royal BattleMech Division was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army. It was one of the SLDF's Royal units, which consisted of troops from the Terran Hegemony.
History
In 2764, the unit was assigned, as a part of the XI Corps, Sixteenth Army, to District 3 of the Draconis Combine Military Region, but was moved to an undisclosed area in the Periphery in 2765, to take part in the Periphery Uprising.[1] Supported by the 568th Armed Transport Flotilla the Thirty-fourth went AWOL after learning of the Amaris Coup.[2] The Thirty-fourth was destroyed during the Amaris Civil War in 2766[1] by Epsilon Indi's SDS system as they attempted to land on the planet. The majority of the Division perished in space with only a handful actually reaching the planet's surface.[3]
