History

Fourth Succession War

At the start of Fourth Succession War the Fifth Amphigean was stationed on the world Harvest alongside the mercenary unit Helmut's Hermits and a considerable number of supporting regiments. The regiment was taken by suprise by the attack of the First Lyran Guards RCT on the world as part of the wider Lyran Operation Gotterdammerung.[1]. eventually being forced to retreat to Kirchbach.[2].

War of 3039

In the War of 3039, the Fifth Amphigean engaged Rhonda's Irregulars Mercenary Battalion on Vega.

Destruction

The Fifth was shattered during the Clan Invasion when Clan Ghost Bear attacked Krenice.

The 48th

The Battalion sized Mercenary unit known as The 48th is made up of the surviving members of the Fifth Amphigean Light Assault Group.

Officers

As of 3025, the commanding officer of the unit was, General Kent Gerber.[3]

As of 3050, the commanding officer of the unit was, Tai-sa Helen Cassidy.[4]
