History
Formation
Whilst on maneuvers on the world Damian in 2902 the Ninth drove off a raid by Helmar Valesek's Pirates.
3rd Succession War
In May of 3013 The Ninth conducted a raid on the Federated Suns world Mara. Unfortunately the unit was out smarted by the defending Kell Hounds Mercenary unit who managed to steal the Cadre's JumpShip leaving the Ninth stranded.[1]
