History
The Alcyone Capellan March Militia was well-known for its feverish defense of the worlds under its protection. They were slowly drawn into the FedCom Civil War by constant muttering from pro-Victor units like the 20th Avalon Hussars.[1] The Alcyone CMM didn't want to take sides in the Civil War, but felt that Katherine Steiner-Davion was the only person paying attention to the threat posed by the Capellan Confederation.[2] Toward that end the commanders of the Alcyone CMM began redistributing parts and supplies intended for the 20th Avalon Hussars and 5th Davion Guards to CMM-controlled warehouses. This increased tensions between the units on Alcyone. The tension was finally resolved when Marshal Kinsely Crossburns, commander of the Alcyone PDZ, was accidentally killed by a CMM MP.
