Anastasius Focht (b. ? – d. ?) was the Precentor Martial during ComStar's Battle for Tukayyid against the Clan Invasion and is noted for his role in the schism that led to the origination of the Word of Blake.

Biography
Focht was born "Frederick Steiner." A member of House Steiner, Frederick was used by Aldo Lestrade as a contender for the throne of the Lyran Commonwealth while Aldo would pull the strings. He was commander of the Tenth Lyran Guards during the Fourth Succession War and led a suicidal mission against the Draconis Combine on Dromini IV. Role in the Schism
Following his success on Tukayyid, Focht returned to Terra to confront Primus Waterly on her aborted Operation Scorpion. ComStar archives indicate she resigned and then coincidentally died four days later of a cerebral hemmorrhage. The Word of Blake maintains, however, that Focht and Sharilar Mori, her successor, had her killed.[1]
