Planetary History
Reunification War
In 2582 during the open throws of the Reunification War, Budingen would become the site of a battle between Star League Auxiliary troops from House Kurita and Outworlds Alliance defenders. The Pitcairn Legion ambushed the Kurita troops believing Budingen would have light resistance against their conquest. However, the Kurita forces would be destroyed by this attack, which trigger violence against Alliance citizens. Angry Kurita troops would end up massacres number of Alliance citizens and destruction of their property. Star League's Outworld Alliance expedition commander, General Amos Forlough would also have occupied Alliance worlds citizens executed to discourage rebellion.[1]
The planet would be claimed by House Kurita after the treaty of Peace of Cerberus is signed in 2585.[2][3]
