Cabot Dayne was, as of 3075, a mercenary in command of a battle armor squad.

History[edit]

Cabot grew up in a farming family, his mother an AgroMech pilot and his father taking care of the house.[1]

On 17 March 3075, on behalf of employers he believed to be the Circinus Federation, Cabot led a team (Patton Rook, Rodrigo Vasquez, Richter, and Newland) to raid a Blantleff-based Marian Hegemony research facility.[2] The raid itself was a success, the team stealing numerous records and samples,[3] but when they met with their employer, they discovered that they had been working on behalf of the Word of Blake, a faction they were unwilling to serve. Amidst an attack by Marian trackers, the mercenaries turned on their employer,[4] and in their desperation to escape, fled with surviving Marian tank operator Lucian Bohan. Patton and Rodrigo died in their escape.[5]

After arriving at the Marian evacuation landing zone, Cabot saved Senator Marcus Tullius Livinus from a self-detonating Blakist; Lucian died in the explosion. In return, Marcus brought the mercenaries aboard one of the evacuating ships, showing interest in employing the remnants of the squad.[6]

Physical Description[edit]

Cabot was over 165 centimeters tall.[2]

Battle Armor[edit]

Cabot used a Tornado suit.[2]
