The CCS Elias Jung was a Feng Huang-class cruiser constructed by and in service with the Capellan Confederation.

History

The Elias Jung was the first Feng Huang launched. The ship debuted in mid-3058 with the blockade of Sarna to support the invasion of Kaifeng by Warrior House Hiritsu. In the rush to beat the Free Worlds League Thera-class to launch, the Elias Jung suffered from "issues" and required a year-long overhaul until 3060[1][2] and then another, finally space worthy by 3062.[3]

Commanded by Kong-sang-wei Tullio Kar until his replacement, the Elias Jung against SLDF interference in 3062, to protect the newly created Xin Sheng commonality, was responsible for blockading the planet Milos. Under the command of Captain Tullio Karr, he obtained a important victory, when he forced an invading fleet, carrying two regiments of Eridani Light Horse unit, to retreat fromn the system. But Karr made a big mistake: later, when he jumped to Maladar system to inform his superior of Eridani's Light Horse attack. This allowed the mercenary unit to return again to Milos, this time landing on planet. For having abandoned his posting, Chancellor Sun Tzu ordered Captain Karr to be court-martialed and executed.[4]

Elias Jung was lost in September 3070 above St. Ives while attempting to prevent the Eighth Division from invading. The news organization XPFS stated it was lost in combat with the Dante-class WoBS Perdition while Word of Blake sources claim it suffered an internal explosion.[5]
