Galileo Instruments
Galileo Instruments is a electronic equipment and JumpShip manufacturer within the Draconis Combine[1].
Company Profile
Home Office: Camden, New Oslo - prior to the formation of the Free Rasalhague Republic and the Clan Invasion
President/CEO: Count Mark Diashai (Circa 3025)
Overview
Galileo Instruments began as a manufacturer of space craft control equipment. From there they have diversified into a number of industries that require sophisticated electronic systems. They also maintain several DropShip manufacturing lines.
Prior to 3025, the former CEO Philip Diashai had a falling out with the military procurement board of the Draconis Combine. When the Combine's government was splitting into military and civilian divisions, Diashai chose to give up the guidance system portion of the firm to keep the company in the civilian domain. Though this cut the company by almost 60 percent, Galileo excelled and now produces a line of well received agricultural electronics. The Automatic Self-Harvesting Hydroponics Farm is a best seller.
However, sometime after the split, Galileo started producing the Achilles assault DropShip. The details of how this happened are currently unclear.
