History[edit]
Formation[edit]
The Haematite Guard was born of heavy recruiting efforts within the Border Protectorate province of the Free Worlds League. The influx of new recruits allowed the Protectorate Guard to add a third regiment to its rosters, with the Haematite Guard entering service in 3065[1]
Politically, the Haematite Guard was sharply split between supporting the Protectorate Guard's military commander, General Loren Bryce-Marik, and the Steel Guard's hereditary commanders in Marilyn Stroud of House Stroud.
