Title(s) Duke of Kentares IV

Hereditary rulers of Kentares.

History[edit]

Origins[edit]

House Dresari's existence as a noble family was an indirect consequence of the Kentares Massacre. The first Duke was Alexander Dresari, who was at that time a brevet-colonel in command of the Seventh Crucis Lancers, the unit initially tasked to garrison Kentares IV. It was a Seventh Crucis sharpshooter that unwittingly killed Minoru Kurita during the DCMS invasion of the planet in the First Succession War and set in motion the events that would culminate in the atrocity. When the Seventh Lancers were ordered to evacuate the world by First Prince John Davion, they did so, as a consequence allowing the infamous Massacre to take place with little opposition. Due to his support of Paul Davion, when Alexander later liberated Kentares IV from the occupying DCMS forces, he was rewarded with a ducal title, making his family and their descendants the hereditary rulers of that planet.[1]
