History
Early Succession Wars as Capellan Cuirassiers
The regiment was originally known as the Capellan Cuirassiers, where it carried out invasion of Terran Hegemony during the chaotic days of the Amaris Coup, capturing number of worlds at order of Chancellor Barbara Liao. One its more famous captured worlds was Hegemony world of Marlette, which became a strategic holding for House Liao to fend off attacks from Federated Suns.[1]
The unit is storied for seeing most action than any other Capellan regiment during the Early Succession Wars Era. The unit was stationed on world of Ibstock where it defended world from repeat raids by House Marik forces between 2808 to 2812.
The Cuirassiers destroyed Marik sponsered mercenary unit, Salica's Defiants in 2822, during raid against Gomeisa.
During the Third Succession War, the unit was reponsible for capturing the Capellan rebel Mercenary "Baron" Jacob Mei in 2887.
Fifty Three years later, the unit was successful in defended the Capellan world of Bethel from elements of the House Davion's Avalon Hussars in 2940.
The unit became the backbone of relief force to help break the Davion seige of Tikonov in 2987. The unit as part of the relief force attack the Davion world of Aoisa, so cause the attacking Davion units on Tikonov pull out from its seizure attempt.
As the Justina's Cuirassiers
In 3001, the unit came under command of its Colonel Justina Gordon, whom became the namesake of the unit's new name. Under the command of Colonel Gordon, she lead the regiment in attacks against both House Davion and Marik held worlds.
The unit has been kept in reserve since 3015 for special missions for Chancellor Maximilian Liao. Where the unit was used to escort the Chancellor in secret talks with FedSun's Duke Michael Hasek-Davion.[2]
Fourth Succession War
In the 4th Succession War the unit surrendered in the failed defense of St. Andre against the Davion Light Guards.
