Notes[edit]
- En pie de guerra was used as a title for two different novels. Though this has never been explained, the reason to have two different English novels translated under the same Spanish name was most probably an oversight caused by the change of license ownership.

Notes[edit]
In what I understand is an Easter Egg where ComStar is showing a sort of profile of Michael A. Stackpole, the Spanish translation is different in the Observation and completely different on both the Situation and Recommendation sections.
- In Observation, it says the reason behind his longevity could be found in a Mark Twain text.
- In Situation, he is classified as an harmless person with a keen perception on the Inner Sphere affairs, whose only true thought would be that Maximilian Liao was inspired in a famous Spanish politician from the end of the XX century.
- There have been several debates in the Spanish forum on whom he could be, and the winner would be the Spanish dictator Francisco Franco.
- In Recommendation, instead of saying to have him killed, they recommend to let him finish his two other volumes on the Third Succession War history.

Notes[edit]
There is a known translation issue in this book. In the way it was translated to Spanish, in Chapter 42 it says that Robert Craon is piloting a Valkyrie, while in the original in English, what is said is that he directs his Valkyrie fireteams.
Spanish:
“ | "De inmediato, el teniente Craon disparó el armamento de su Valkyrie para impedir que los Goliath se acercasen al lugar donde yacía el capitán" | ” |
English:
“ | "Leftenant Craon immediately directed his Valkyrie fireteams to keep Goliaths off the Captain's position" | ” |
