History
Formed from the survivors of the famed Team Banzai after the last FedCom Civil War. During the final days of the reign of Katrina, the members had built a support base for the allies and when the invasion began they secured the Fox Den/NAIS. The unit proved their worth after they rebuilt and is therefore considered an elite unit by the AFFS.[1]
At the start of the Jihad, their composition was that of a reinforced regiment.[1]
In 3068 the command was destroyed through a naval bombardment, when they defended the NAIS against the Blakists.[2]
Officer
Dr. John Parker lead the unit and every other soldier is a member of the NAIS.[1]

The unit is prepared for every possible enemy.[1]

The NAIS provide the logistic and support for the unit.[1]

Notes
Although the unit was renamed from Team Banzai ostensibly to avoid real-life trademark hassles concerning the 1984 film The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension, the names of the CO and XO of the unit are still links to the original Banzai homage: John Parker was the cover name of the Black Lectroid, played by Carl Lumbly, who assisted the Hong Kong Cavaliers in their mission against the Red Lectroids, while William Carruthers evokes "Pinky" Carruthers, played by Billy Vera, who was a auxiliary member of the Cavaliers.[citation needed]
