Sir Roger Number 01
During mining activities on a noncanonical planet (Imphal III) during 3026, House Davion found a battered JumpShip and attached to it an unspecified DropShip full of BattleMech components. As House Davion was preparing for the 4th Succession War, Hanse Davion instructed the NAIS to use the part prepare prototypes of several 'Mechs.
Four prototypes were created:
- BRB-3G Barbarian (100 tons)
- PAL-2D Paladin (85 tons, not to be confused with the ArenaMech of the same name)
- RNG-5R Ranger (55 tons)
- BRG-3G Burglar (30 tons)
The Barbarian was discarded due to several issues with its stability. The magazine provides statistics and images for the three remaining 'Mechs, though their equipment does not match the images: the Paladin has what looks like a Rifleman arm but only the AC/5 on it, among other inconsistencies.
A 4-'Mech battle scenario against House Kurita 'Mechs is also presented.
