Major Tammy Markham was an officer with Zeta Battalion of Wolf's Dragoons.

History[edit]

Markham was reputed to be fine though reckless officer, placing loose interpretations on her orders, and taking every opportunity to charge into battle.

As a member of Zeta Battalion's Heavy Lance of Garrett's Company, she participated in the Battle of Misery in 3028 as a Lieutenant, surviving where other more cautious officers did not, including her then commanding officer Captain Arthur Garrett.[1]

She was later promoted to lead Baker Trinary before 3059, first as a captain,[2] and by 3067 as a major.[3]

Her Trinary fought in the First Battle of Harlech in October 3067, being reduced to company strength after that battle.[4] Subsequently her now Baker Company formed part of Taskforce Vengeance, the Dragoons' ill-fated strike at the Word of Blake on Mars, where she died in December 3067 with the majority of the remaining members of Zeta Battalion at the hands of Word of Blake forces.[4][5]

BattleMech[edit]

Tammy Markham was known to pilot a Marauder BattleMech early in her career around the time of the Battle of Misery,[1] and later an Annihilator BattleMech, including during her last engagement on Mars in 3067.[4]
