Captain Tara Lucas was the commander of Lucas's Company (Red Company), Zeta Battalion of Wolf's Dragoons from 3026 to at least 3030.[1]

History[edit]

Lucas joined Zeta Battalion around 3020, as an alternative to being punished for disobeying orders while serving with Beta Regiment, thriving in its raucous culture so much that she was promoted to be an officer around two years later in 3022.

Taking command of Red Company in September 3026 after her predecessor was killed during Zeta Battalion's relief of Alpha Regiment on Barlow's End, Lucas had hopes of commanding Zeta Battalion as a whole one day.[1] However, despite seeing action on Hesperus II, Misery and Crossing, she never accomplished this goal.[2]

Lucas' granddaughter and namesake Tara Lucas (31st c.), later rose to second-in-command of Zeta Battalion, before its destruction on Mars in 3067 at the hands of the Word of Blake.[2]

BattleMech[edit]

Lucas was known to pilot a Stalker BattleMech.[1] She was shot out of the 'Mech during the battles on Crossing against the Draconis Combine in 3028.[2]
