Overview[edit]

The massive Titan Shipyards are a relic of the Star League, but their advanced age should not mislead one to believe them decrepit. On the contrary, the shipyards at Titan have been undergoing major renovations. The Yards were composed by dozens of space stations orbiting around Titan.[1] The majority stakeholder of the Titan Shipyards is O'Neil Yards.[2]

Operational History[edit]

Built during the Star League, they were the most important ones in Terran system to survive the Amaris Coup. Mothballed by ComStar, after Operation ODYSSEUS were initially held by the ComStar fleet, but eventually fell into the Blakist's hands. Under their rule, they were being used to refit numerous DropShips and JumpShips purchased throughout the Inner Sphere by the Word of Blake, but they are more than capable of producing even larger and more powerful Warships than the destroyers and frigates already being constructed there. During the last part of Operation SCOUR, the Yards were the site of one of the biggest space battles in history. About two thirds of the yards were destroyed in the battle, between the Coalition attacks and the Blakist sabotage.[3]

During the Republic of the Sphere existance, they played a key part of the Republic's needs. During the Battle of Terra, Clan Wolf took it, both to use their facilities as to deny it to the Republic warfleet. However, at least initially, they were unable to use them to repair their own ships, as most of the shipyards workers' refused to obey the Wolves.[4]

Facility[edit]

The Titan Yards facilities include[5]

  • Warwick Station, a Bastion-class space defense station
  • One Large Unpressurized Yard
  • One Large Pressurized Yard
