VaultShips were a class of Clan Jade Falcon DropShips, part of the Jade Falcon banking system after the Blackout.

History

By 3132, it was clear the Blackout would continue for some time. Khan Jana Pryde ordered Merchant Factor Marena to find a solution. Marena oversaw the conversion of of six Mule-class DropShips to VaultShips, designed to both carry gold, precious metals, and other liquid assets, and also to keep the kerensky registries updated, preventing the collapse of the Clan currency. Each VaultShip was carried by a JumpShip equipped with a Lithium-Fusion Battery, and escorted by either a Noruff or Titan Monitor, plus a Trinary of troops in another DropShip.[1]
