Unit Description
The 29th Division was a "hidden" Word of Blake Militia Division that operated in the Draconis Combine in the early years of the Jihad.[1]
History
Aerospace Raider Force
Defiant Sacrifice first appeared in combat in Benjamin star system in February 3069. The unit was only seen escorting naval task force struck the FedSuns & Combine forces in space. The unit and its task force it was escorting conducted number supporting raids in Dieron Military District from late 3069 through 3070. ISF Intelligence reports suggested that the Division lacked any significate ground elements due it never landing in any its appearences. However, this changed in February 3071[2], when the Division struck Pesht.
Pesht and Destruction
The Division invaded and securing the world with support of the 42nd Shadow Division. The attack on the planet was quick. The unit was reportedly utiltizing bio agents in its initial attack.[3] The Division also used a Alamo nuclear warhead to finalize its conquest of the planet.[4]
The Defiant Sarifice held on to the planet until 3074, when Clan Ghost Bear assaulted the Pesht with estimated two Galaxies worth of troops. All transportation and support units were eliminated as well the Division military forces itself. Reports of the suprise assault left no survivors,[5] and it was confirmed in 3081 that the 29th had in fact been wiped out on Pesht.[6]

The Jihad Secrets: The Blake Docouments shows unit assaulting Pesht in 3072. Writers have noted that this wrong, that older Jihad Hot Spots: 3072 has correct date.

Game Rules
The 29th Division suffers a negative modifier to its inititive when it is the defender. The unit's aerospace assets have a negative modifier for base piloting and gunnery.[7]
