The Second Falcon Dragoons were a Cluster of Clan Jade Falcon's touman.

The Second Falcon Dragoons were formed in 3058 or 3059 following Clan Jade Falcon's personnel gains during the Harvest Trials. Almost half of the Dragoons' original members were warriors taken as isorla from other Clans, primarily from the Snow Ravens and Ice Hellions.[1] At the end of 3059 they were posted to the Jade Falcon enclave on Glory and remained there until at least 3067.[4] [5]
After the Wars of Reaving the Second Dragoons by 3079 were stationed on Great X in the Falcons' Inner Sphere Occupation Zone.[6] By 3085 they had been transferred to Wotan.[2]
In 3113 the Second Falcon Dragoons engaged the Hell's Horses Thirtieth Mechanized Strike Cluster in a Trial of Possession for several Balius OmniMechs. This Trial was the first appearance of the Gyrfalcon BattleMech. The Second won the Trial, and destroyed the captured Balius 'Mechs rather than take them as isorla.[7]
By 3145 the Second Dragoons were stationed on Apostica.[3] A year later they engaged the Rasalhague Dominion's 300th Battle Cluster on Ganshoren. The fighting resulted in several of the Dominion's new Rime Otters falling to Dragoons' fire due to faulty tactics.[8]
During the Battle of Terra in 3151 the Second Dragoons participated in the conquest of Central America and the destruction of Eleventh Hastati Sentinels.[9]
