Unit Description
The 3rd Assault Cluster was shortlived miltitary formation belonging to Clan Smoke Jaguar's Delta Galaxy.
History
Operation Bulldog & Destruction
The Cluster was formed in later 3050s when the unit was assigned to Delta Galaxy.
The unit was stationed on the world of Jeronimo with the Delta's Galaxy Command Trinary and garrison elements of the Omega Galaxy.
In May 3059, Jaguar's occuaption zone had been invaded by forces claiming being part of newly formed Star League. The 3rd Assault was ordered by Delta Galaxy's Command Trinary, Skyriders Keshik to accompany in planetary assault against Draconis Combine. The Cluster and Trinary arrived at Pesht, where they had impossible mission to take the district capital world. Their intelligence reported that only the 7th Sword of Light, 1st Kell Hounds & Ryuken-san was present of the planet. On their landings, they soon discovered the 7th Sword had more reinforcements. As they push to meet the enemy, 3rd Assault soon found the Exiled Clan Wolf's 2nd Wolf Legion had cut the Command Galaxy Trinary off from them.
On their best judgement, they felt their chance best for break out of situation was through the mercenary regiment, the Kell Hounds. However as they attempted break through, the 7th Sword of Light had arrive behind them and slammed into it like hammer onto anvil. The 3rd Assault shattered, its individual stars that escaped the shattering, were hunted down.[1]
