Conner Sortek was an officer in the Armed Forces of the Federated Suns[3] and the youngest son of noted hero Ardan Sortek.[4]
History[edit]
By 3077 Conner had been given command of the elite First Davion Guards,[3] the second of his family to command the 1st Guards in the last twenty years, as Bishop Sortek, cousin to Connor's father Ardan, had commanded the First Guards during the early years of the FedCom Civil War.[5] Operating as a part of Group II of the Federated Suns task force in Operation SCOUR the First Guards would fight in a number of campaigns; Connor is noted as having led the 1st Guards in the assault on Fletcher in late 3077 alongside Galen Cox and the Com Guard 2nd Army.[3]
Connor is known to have become disillusioned over what he viewed as a betrayal of the Guards by their liege lord, and to have taken up service with Devlin Stone and the Republic of the Sphere after the Jihad.[4]
