In September 2821 a large combined Clan naval force led by Rafe Kardaan successfully tracked down and engaged the fleeing remnants of the independent spacefarer communities established by survivors of the civil war that led to the Second Exodus. The refugees numbered in the tens of thousands and included those who had managed to flee the initial Clan attacks on the Circe system and those who chose to evacuate and flee the spacer-founded colony known as Fasa on the outskirts of the Pentagon Worlds.
