Planetary History

During the Jihad, the support offered from the Lyran Alliance to the allied coalition assembled by Devlin Stone was far from universally popular. This was highlighted on the 13th of December 3077 when Heather Fyhne-Steiner, wife of Archon Adam Steiner, was attacked by a mob protesting against the support offered to the coalition. The resulting stampede caused when the guards opened fire to disperse the crowd saw nearly a hundred civilians wounded and twenty-nine killed.
