N&D was a series of companies that spawned from a collaboration by Nashan Diversified and Defiance Industries. Whether these related companies are separate affiliates or subsidiaries is unknown.

History

After several years of negotiations Nashan and Defiance announced the creation of N&D Targeting Computers in 3024. A factory for the computer systems began almost immediately on Furillo, and completed in 3026.[1] Also in 3024 N&D Shipyards was formed from the assets of Henderson JumpShips of Alarion Unlimited in the Alarion system, in bankruptcy since 3012.[1]

N&D Targeting Computers became a licensed manufacturer for RCA products in the Lyran Commonwealth.[2] It is unknown who held the license prior to N&D's 3024 foundation.

In 3069, N&D Shipyards, along with everyone else on Alarion, was destroyed by the Word of Blake Jihad.[5][6] Furillo also suffered losses in the Jihad, with N&D WorkMechs suffering 5% losses but returning to full production capacity by December 3069. What damage N&D Targeting Computers suffered, if any, is unknown.[7]
