Nerum vanished from maps during the Second Succession War,[1][2] indicating that the system had been abandoned, depopulated, or rendered too insignificant to merit further recording.

Planetary History[edit]

Nerum was a part of the Traders Domain province of the Outworlds Alliance during the Star League era.[3] The nearby system known as Wynn's Roost was the subject of a land rush when huge quantities of rare earth metals were discovered in the system, leading to the Star League Defense Force deploying the Sixty-first Royal Jump Infantry Division to monitor events. By 2730, large quantities of those same rare earth elements had been discovered in the Nerum system, as well as the nearby systems of Renorsal, Vangburg, and Zebuluraskai, leading to the Sixty-first spending decades garrisoning the local region.[32]
