Brief Planetary History

Colonization & raise of the Sandoval family

The settled by colonist from the First Terran Exodus for its rich black soil and pleasant living conditions. Majority of the lands settlers for farming, soon discovered the world was riched in mineral & oil deposits. However, off planet corporation soon arrive and come into conflict with farmers whom had already claimed the majority of the planet's available land. This resulted into a planetary crisis and collasped of the planetary government. The Robinson's planetary militia commander, David Sandoval, took control of the planet's collapsed government. Declaring himself "Lord Protector", he seized control of the foreign companies assets and lands to stablize the situation. He forged a land-reform bill which shifted control of the world's purchase and sales of theplanet's lands to government control. This resulted his Sandoval family becoming incredibly rich. Though new policy came into place to eased this bill, Sandoval family's become planet's ruling nobility.[9]

Founding of the Federated Suns & Davion Civil War

With founding of the Federated Suns, Robinson became one of the five seats power in House Davion. Giving Sandoval family title of Prince, controling then the what known as the Terran March. This began what became to be known as the Five Prince Era, which divided rule lead to Davion Civil War. Federated Sun is re-organized and Robinson is made capital of newly formed Draconis March despite Sandoval backing of Rostov.[10]

Star League & Succession Wars

The planet lost portion of its rich soil to heavy mining during this period, limiting its ablity to feed itself. However, its exports of raw materials allowed construction of Dropships & JumpShips, making world wealth and able afford food imports. However, after the fall of the Star League, House Kurita forces invaded and occupid the world for number of decades. Despite its liberation decades later, starvation and destruction of its heavy industries. Only until 31st Century has planet's economic wealth had been restored.

Jihad

In 3071 the Word of Blake raids the planet.[11]
