History

Formation

Originally a mercenary unit in Lyran service who joined the FWLM after being stranded on Alula Australis.[1]

Replaced the First Atrean Dragoons on Asuncion after the Herat Massacre.[1]

Jihad

At some point during the Jihad they joined the Word of Blake. Stationed on Chara they faced off against Clan Wolf in Exile's Alpha Galaxy. They inflicted serious losses on the Second Wolf Legion, forcing them to retreat off-world.[2]

Officers

As of 3059 the commanding officer was Colonel Marilyn Stroud, and she is still in command in 3067.[1][3]

Tactics

The Guard used static-defense formations, and is very well trained in uban combat and crowed-control tactics.[1]
