Planet History

Originally named Oporto,[3] this world was a part of the Finmark Province of the Rim Worlds Republic, and by the end of the 3rd Succession War the system was no longer considered to be significant.[7][8] By 3075, the planet had reappeared on maps but had been renamed Veil; by 3130, the system had been incorporated into the Rim Territories.[17][19] Despite maps renaming the world "Veil", it was still referred to as "Oporto" by intelligence services working for the Republic of the Sphere when they reported that the mercenary Hexare Grenadiers, working for the LAAF at the time, had uncovered a Word of Blake Level II on Oporto and called in the Qanatir MTM top help destroy the Blakists in or around 3079.[22]
