Lowella was, as of 3146, a Trueborn Clan Wolf-in-Exile child.[1]

Lowella grew up in Wolf City on Arc-Royal. She was part of a crèche taught by Dara (Elemental). Genedaughter of a deceased warrior friend of Dara, by 3146, she was approaching sibko age.[1]
On 24 September 3146, while Lowella and Dara were out at night for disciplinary reasons, in the middle of the Battle of Arc-Royal (3146), Clan Jade Falcon Elementals attacked Wolf City, burning their training center and its genetic repository. Ordered by Dara to find a vehicle and escape, Lowella took an Anat, but instead of immediately escaping, the child rescued her teacher from an Elemental. She then drove the badly wounded Dara to safety, evacuating on the Kell Hounds' Dog Leg civilian transport DropShip.[1]
In 5 January 3148, Lowella, as Dara and other Kell Hounds' refugees, was settled in an old mining complex in Alarion. After a kid insulted the Exiles, she fought him in a Circle of Equals, almost broking his arm. Dara wasn't disgusted, but made her exercise more to make sure the next time she broke the arm of her adversary. The same day, when an unknown group of Raiders was to attack the complex, she wanted to fight along Dara, but he refused, tasking her to watch the complex and protect the other refugees, which she reluctantly accepted. However, she saw more fight than expected, because a pirate infiltration team get inside the complex. She fought the attackers, containing the, though she was wounded. Dara arrived and gave her to Dr. Lavonne. Soon after, a dying Dara called her by communicator, asking her to remember him. She swear it before he dies. Sometime later, Lowella, now piloting the pirates' recovered 'Mech, visited Dara's monument, with his name written in the face of a cliff, telling him than she and the other refugees have been found by the Hounds and soon will depart.[2]
