Dara was a Trueborn Clan Wolf-in-Exile Elemental and crèche teacher as of 3146.[1]

History[edit]

Warrior Career[edit]

Dara was decanted not long after the end of the Jihad. He had an unnamed friend which died in action, and spent at least two years serving as a member of an Elemental point, performing competently but unremarkably, before suffering a career-ending leg injury. The Khan of the time personally visited him as he recovered, and gave him six months to rehabilitate his leg.[1]

Sibko Trainer[edit]

By September 3146, Dara was a trainer for the Clan's crèches on Arc-Royal. On 24 September, he was with a member of his crèche, Lowella, for disciplinary reasons. She was the genedaughter of his deceased friend. While they were in a storage, the Clan Jade Falcon invasion moved on to Wolf City, attacking his training center and burning the genetic repository, and Dara, unarmored and barely armed, found himself facing off a single Elemental suit alone. Using a hammer, he damaged the Elemental's main weapon, putting on fire his suit. Forced to flee, with the Falcon in nearby persecution, he suffered severe injuries in the fight, but when his pursuer was to kill him, he was rescued by Lowella, driving an Anat APC, crushing the Falcon. Dara was evacuated by her and treated on a Kell Hounds civilian transport DropShip, the Dog Leg. His leg injury left him with a limp.[1]

Refugee Leader[edit]

Dara opens fire with a semi-portable autocannon.

On 5 January 3148, Dara, along with Lowella and other refugees, settled in an old mining complex on Albion[ambiguous]. That day, he found the girl after she had fought with another kid in a Circle of Equals, almost breaking one of his arms. He made her to exercise, not as punishment but because he found it unacceptable that she had failed to break the kid's arm. The same day, Dara was summoned to a meeting of leaders of the refugees. He thought it was because of the fight, but it wasn't the case: an unknown DropShip was approaching the complex without answering any calls. As Dara was the leader of the security force. Dara equipped himself withy a harness, which allowed him to carry a small autocannon. He talked with Lowella before departing, tasking her to protect the other refugees, but the truth is than he couldn't risk her life.[citation needed]

When the newly arrived ones proved to be pirates, attacking the refugees, Dara led the defense with his heavy weapon, causing heavy casualties to the pirates' infantry and making sure the defenders draw the pirates' single 'Mech, a Hussar, and two tanks, into a trap, making a sinkhole which trapped tanks and 'Mech. After killing the pilot of the Hussar, he allowed himself to relax... but then uncovered the infiltration of a pirate second's team into the base. After getting rid of his weapon and harness, Dara charged to the base. He found Lowella wounded but alive, evacuating her before engaging the pirates. The furious Dara made a real slaughter in the small space of the confined space.[citation needed]

Death and Legacy[edit]

Dara killed almost all the pirates, except for one, but when help arrived, he was fatally wounded, and fell to the ground. He asked Doctor Lavonne to allow him to talk with Lowella one last time. He said her than, as he was a solahma, nobody will write his name in the Remembrance, but asked her to remember her. She swear it before he dies. Dara's sacrifice was crucial to save the refugees' lives. Dara's name, along with all other fallen in the battle, was written in a cliff face, as a monument, and Lowella went to see it a last time before departing from planet.[2]
