Nigel Thompson was an Armed Forces of the Federated Suns officer, and Mercenary liaison, as of 3062.[1]
Personal Appearance[edit]
Thompson was tall, with black skin, and green eyes. He was considered to be handsome and charismatic.[1]
History[edit]
While acting as a Federated Suns Mercenary liaison officer on Charleston in the Taurian Concordat in October 3062, Thompson engaged the Black Dawn Mercenary unit under the false pretense of assaulting a poorly defended Pirate base on an uninhabited planet (Coordinates 421.6, -399.2). The mission was however actually to test an experimental AGS-4D Argus BattleMech, which Thompson provided the mercenaries as a sign-on bonus, against a secret Word of Blake base supplied with advanced 'Mechs.
It was speculated by the Black Dawn mercenaries that Thompson may have been a member of Davion intelligence, perhaps the Department of Military Intelligence or Ministry of Information, Intelligence, and Operations.[1]
