Sarah Kattrin was a former Draconis Combine MechWarrior and an Errant MechWarrior during the opening phases of Operation REVIVAL.[1]

Sarah Kattrin was a skilled MechWarrior who rose to the rank of Chu-sa and the command of a battalion of the Draconis Combine's elite Sword of Light Regiments. She was also an admired 'Mech pilot instructor. Upon retirement from active duty, Sarah would dedicate herself to finding inner peace. Her journeys brought her to many worlds and many Buddhist monasteries as she traveled across the little known worlds of the Periphery. Over time, she found herself on the world of Twilight when Clan Jade Falcon invaded in 3049.[1]
There a force of Falcon warriors, led by one Star Commander Briggan of the 2nd Falcon Jaegers Cluster, would destroy the monastery she was residing in and began torturing the abbot of the monastery when the monks did not show any fear of the warriors. This forced Sarah to reveal herself and challenge the Falcon commander to single combat.[1]
The fight consisted of Star Commander Briggan piloting his Kit Fox-A against Sarah's Phoenix Hawk, dubbed Self-Deception and awarded to her by a grateful Combine. Although out of practice, Kattrin was able to surprise her enemy with her skill while also delivered several damaging blows. However, Briggan's skill and more advanced technology slowly began to turn the tide by damaging Sarah's Phoenix Hawk severely. Finally, with no functional weapons left, Sarah attempted a Death from Above attack which failed leaving her Mech immobile and helpless on the ground. Briggan then took the opportunity to guide his damaged 'Mech over to fire into the Phoenix Hawk's cockpit before reaching his 'Mech's hand inside to bring out Sarah's corpse to hold it triumphantly aloft.[1]
