Plot Summary[edit]
Yuri Agamato, a former MechWarrior of the Dragon's Fury, visits the Cracked Canopy, a MechWarrior's bar in Solaris City. He carries a heavy burden and only wants to get rid of it, so he went there to leave it on the bar, and only for that, he explains his history to the bartender Jonathan. He was a former RAF member who defected with his [[BattleMech] to join Katana Tormark's group and honor his Draconis Combine roots. He was part of a Fury's detachment that launched a raid on Sadachbia. Before they even reached their target, the unit is attacked by a mysterious Highlander, who easily destroys al IndustrialMech MODs. Yuri tries to fight back with his BattleMech, but is shot down too. The mysterious female pilot, who calls herself the Banshee, and is clearly a member of the Northwind Highlanders, gives Yuri a capsule with a message for Katana Tormark, before she lets him depart.
Yuri ends his story with Katana Tormark, who blamed him for the defeat and thus cashiered Yuri from the Dragon's Fury. Since then, he had been tormented from the incident, which had ruined his life. He wanted to give the capsule to free himself from that curse... but when Jonathan cleans the item, before putting it to the Memory Wall, uncovers a inscription where the Banshee swears she always will be with Yuri. The message broke all of Yuri's confidence, and decides to abandon his plans to return to a 'Mech cockpit.
