W-8 Facilities was a Clan Wolf manufacturing facility on Tamar.
Overview[edit]
The W-8 Facilities were built during the Jihad on the site of WC Site OZ-1, which was damaged during the Jihad. The plant itself didn't actually manufacture 'Mechs, rather it assembled them from components shipped in from W-7 Facilities on Weingarten. The only difference between the output of the two facilities is that 'Mechs assembled at W-8 had a higher amount of residual radioactivity.[1]
By the end of 3079, the facility (or its WC Site OZ-1 predecessor) had lost 65% of its personnel and was operating at 60% of maximum capacity.[2]
