Overview
Majesty Metals is the oldest manufacturer of the Magistracy of Canopus forming in 2550.[1] The company took advanage of Canopus's rich ore reserves on the planet and became metal producer. Twenty years after its primary facilities had opened, the compnay expanded to Dunianshire. During this time company began try manfacture and market consumer/civilian vehicles just prior to events of the Reunification War. In the war, the factories were switched to producing Combat Vehicles and BattleMechs. Neither facility was damage from the conflict.
During the Amaris Crisis, General Kerensky had captured Canopus and took the plants intact. He then needing means to rearm & re-equip his troops expanded their facilities, including adding DropShip production line on Dunianshire. Using these factories, allowed him supply his forces enough equipment to fight Rims World Republic.
The Succession Wars was not kind to most of Magistracy's industries, however the Magesty Metals survived the conflict. However, depletion of its ores has limited its production rate during this time.
In the 3060s, investors from the Liao Communality, has enabled to spread out his production lines knowingly raising his production of 'Mechs and other war machines in spite of the additional one, to import large amounts of raw material. Since creation of Detroit Consolidated MechWorks, new flux design work has been shuffled away from Majestry.
After the Jihad erupted, the company managed optain plans for the Koschei BattleMech. With aide from Earthwerks Incorporated of Tikonov, they were able begin limited production for the Mech in 3068 at their Dunianshire plant.[2] During the Word of Blake's occupation of Canopus, the Blakist took control of the production lines there and used them rebuild their forces. The Blakist occupiers upgraded the manfacturing lines there, producing Blakist theme designs using latest technology. After the Blakist withdrew from Canopus by 3073, the factory ablity to produce their designs had waigned by 3077.[3]
