History
Clan Hell's Horses
The unit was originally the 229th Mechanized Strike Cluster of Clan Hell's Horses known as the Artemis Cluster. It was stationed on Niles in 3059[1] and on Tiber in 3067.[2]
Clan Stone Lion
After the creation of Clan Stone Lion in 3075 during the Wars of Reaving, the Cluster was renamed the 229th Iron Guards and became part of that Clan's Touman.[3]

Rules
When rolling random Mech assignment - reroll any design that does not feature at least one SRM or LRM launcher. If the second Mech is also missile-free the player may choose either design.[6]
