History[edit]

Age of War[edit]

The original Second Tikonov Guards was a unit that fought for the Capellan Confederation during the Age of War. They were apparently destroyed and the Strategios decided not to rebuild the unit.

Re-formation[edit]

Numerous resistance groups were formed with Maskirovka assistance following the loss of central authority brought about by Gray Monday. Located around the former Tikonov Commonality region, these pro-Liao warbands fighting against the Republic of the Sphere were too far away from the frontlines to receive much assistance from House Liao and many were destroyed. Those who were still alive by the time the Capellan Confederation Armed Forces advance reached them were re-equipped from Capellan supply depots and amalgamated into the 2nd Tikonov Guards.[1]

The unit was assigned as a reserve regiment of the Tikonov Commonality by 3145.[2]

Operation GREAT FLOOD[edit]

The Second Tikonov Guards was formed after Operation GREAT FLOOD reached the worlds of the former Tikonov Commonality.[1]

Operation CELESTIAL REWARD[edit]

In December of 3144, the Second Tikonov Guards alongside the Fifth McCarron's Armored Cavalry defeated the Twelfth Vegan Rangers and secured Chesterton as part of Operation CELESTIAL REWARD.[3]

Tactics[edit]
