3rd Luthien Guards

Template:InfoBoxStateUnit The Stormwalkers were a armored "Tank" regiment, which serves as supporting/complimentry military regiment to the Draconis Combine's 2nd Sword of Light Regiment. The unit consisted of wide array of differient frontline combat vehicles, scout assets and artillery and other support vehicles.

Unit History

Pre-Jihad


Jihad & the Battle for Luthien

On New Years Day in 3068, the unit fought against Kokuryu-kai influenced elements of the Second Sword of Light and its mercenary support unit Sathen's Snipers for control of the Imperial Palace. Fighting with place defenders, such as the Otomo and Izanagi Warriors, the unit failed hold the palace. They were however able to provide cover to its fellow loyalist samurai troops during fighting withdrawal from the palace. Several members of the Guards noted for their efforts in this action. [1] The unit aligned itself to serve the loyalist / samurai to Coordinator verse major of its parent formation's Kokuryu-kai influence ways. [2]

It unclear if the Guards survivors were absorbed into 1st Genyosha and other loyal samurai forces permanently, thus dissolving the formation all together.
